Colon Cancer Warning Signs & Symptoms
Colon cancer is something that a lot of people are starting
to worry about and for good reason. After all, the colon is
a part of the body that actually gets disease the most often.
This is because it deals with all of the toxic waste that
the body is trying to get rid of. Over time, that toxic waste
can build up in your colon and actually cause problems later
on down the road. That is why people are always on the look
out for colon cancer warning sings. However, spotting colon
cancer symptoms is not as easy as one may think. This
is because a lot of the colon cancer warning signs (that we
will go over in just a second) can also be symptoms of other
problems, meaning that, a lot of times, when you think that
you have colon cancer, you will notice that you have nothing
wrong at all! However, just so you can keep a close eye on
yourself you need to be able to know what the colon cancer
symptoms are just in case.
First and for most, you need to look for blood in your stool.
This is a good sign that you could have colon cancer. On that
same note, however, blood in your stool does not always mean
that you have cancer. A lot of the times, it could be the
sign of something else. For example, you could have a small
cut on your anus, so that is something that you may have to
get looked at first. Also, if you notice that you have a hard
time using the bathroom. Of course, that could also be just
constipation. So be sure to keep that in mind before you jump
the gun, thinking that you have some kind of colon cancer.
It is also a good thing to note that, if you have a history
of colon cancer in your family, then you are at a higher risk
to get it yourself. Thus, you should check with your family
doctor, as well as other people in your family to see if colon
cancer runs in the family. If it does, then that is something
that you are going to have to keep a closer eye on than other
people.
The signs
of colon cancer are very easy to get mixed up with other
problems. Also note that if you do have a history of colon
cancer in your family, that does not mean that you are going
to get it for sure. That just means that you need to keep
an eye on it, more so than other people. There are ways that
you can help to prevent yourself from getting colon cancer,
however. This is done by helping to keep the colon clean.
You can do this by eating the right kinds of food and drinking
a lot of water. Not only that, but it does not hurt to use
some colon irrigation equipment from time to time. This can
help keep your colon clean and cancer free. Although it is
still possible to get it after that, it does take down your
risk a lot. Of course, you can also take down your risk by
not eating fatty foods.
