Yeast Infection Treatment
Yeast infections are things that happen to millions of people
everyday. Although it happens to a lot of people, it is something
that people do not like to talk about. Yeast infections can
be hard to deal with, and it's even harder for some people
to drag themselves to the store to pick up some yeast infection
treatment medication. If you are one of the many people who
are too embarrassed to go to the store to pick up a yeast
infection treatment, then you will be happy to note that there
are a lot of home remedies for yeast infection that you can
try. These home remedies for yeast infection can be done with
stuff that you may have laying around the house already. If
you do not, then at least you can go to the store and pick
it up without having to let anyone know that you have a yeast
infection.
The first thing that you should use is cider vinegar. Smear
some of this in the area that has the yeast infection. It
is also a good idea to add some garlic to it as well, because
that will stop the itching. If you want to, you can add some
water to the vinegar to dilute it a bit. If that does not
work, then it is time to move on to yogurt. This is one of
the best known home remedies for yeast infection. Some people
even like to soak tampons in curds or yogurt and then place
it in the infected area for at least an hour. The healthy
bacteria from the yogurt is going to over power the bad yeast
from the yeast infection. This should be done about three
times daily.
If you do not want to stick anything in that area, then you
might want to try drinking some buttermilk. You should do
this about two times daily. Even if you do not have a yeast
infection, drinking buttermilk can keep you from ever getting
one. If that does not work, then try to mix some olive leaf
extracts with some grape fruit seeds. Add them both to a glass
of water and drink. This is a great tonic for getting rid
of yeast infections.
All of these treatments work wonders, but the best yeast
infection treatment options involve putting things at the
source of the problem. For example, adding a few drops of
tea tree oil to your tampon, and then inserting it into your
vagina can add a lot of help to get rid of your yeast infection.
The most uncomfortable way to get rid of a yeast infection
is with honey. Although it is sticky and not very much fun
to clean up, it works wonders to get rid of a vaginal yeast
infection. Take about ½ cup into the bathroom, and
pour it over the affected area. You will want to let it drip
down the affected area for about twenty minutes or so. After
that, it's a good idea to take a bath in warm water. You are
going to feel a ton better after that.
